Tex. Gov't. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. A Notary Public who charges more than the maximum set out below subjects the notary to possible criminal prosecution and suspension or revocation of the notary’s notary public commission by the Secretary of State's office.
NOTE: Travel, short notice, and after-hour fees are not included in this Texas code, these fees are set by the Notary and agree upon with the customer prior to the appointment.
This business serves as a mobile notary public and signing agent to come to you or meet up at an agreed-upon location. There is a $20 minimum traveling fee and $0.60 per mile after the $20 minimum has been reached. The traveling fees are a separate cost from the actual notarial services being requested.
No cost for the fax cover sheet.
This service is only scanning and emailing the document from DAS Notary Services LLC to the customer's designated recipient.
